from 12 march to 8 april 2015

“Time has been an irreplaceable illusion which we base our entire lives upon, and there are moments which urge us to wish we could cut into time and re-edit our stories.
The videos selected for this project are woven with undertones of the impact of time and how subtle, yet powerful its role is in our lives.
This project presents 10 video artists from India, who have excelled in this genre, and are diverse with the subject matter and expression.” Kanchi Mehta

The Chameleon was established in 2005, where all her projects were archived under one name, however, in November 2011, The Chameleon came into the forefront, converging all her experiences to empower the artistic community with an aim to establish stronger foundations for young and experimental artists. With a strong international program, the focus lies in encouraging inter-cultural exposure to the experimental artist.

“As an artist, I understand the psyche and the role of another artist. I can interpret the language and translate it to the audience. I look for aesthetic, originality, process, concept and above all, emotion. The project is for the artists and by the artists, and so it makes a perfect match.” -Kanchi Mehta
