The videos selected for this project are woven with undertones of the impact of time and how subtle, yet powerful its role is in our lives.

Chameleon Art Projects is an initiative to encourage artistic practices across the globe through curated exhibitions, residencies, publications and artist management.
Kanchi Mehta, the Founder and Chief Curator of The Chameleon is an artist, with a Bachelors degree in Painting from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. After her Post Graduation in the History and Connoisseurship in Art from Christie’s Education, New York in 2005, she has dedicated her time into understanding the art industry by collaborating integrally with prominent galleries, fairs, artists, biennales, curators and collectors across the world.
The Chameleon was established in 2005, where all her projects were archived under one name, however, in November 2011, The Chameleon came into the forefront, converging all her experiences to empower the artistic community with an aim to establish stronger foundations for young and experimental artists. With a strong international program, the focus lies in encouraging inter-cultural exposure to the experimental artist.

The Translucent Video Art Festival is an initiative by Chameleon Art Projects with its focus on experimental video / cinema from India. This festival aims at building a platform for video art in India, encouraging the practice and building a deeper and uncompromised understanding for it, especially for the emerging artists of the country.
The launch of its first edition in Goa, Translucent will take the form of an expanded event, screening over 50 videos / films, in conjunction to the exhibition, “Rebirth of Detail” curated by Kanchi Mehta at Sunaparanta Goa Centre for Arts, Panjim.
